First Batch

I love baking.  An excuse to bake for others (read: I have fun but don't inhale all four-thousand calories myself).  This is how I know the holidays have officially begun - taste testing my Christmas cookies.  Yeah, boo for me.

Something about roll-and-cut cookies makes life so easy.  But don't for a second think that I didn't add enough extra steps to make these exclusively mine.

 Yeah, the kitchen smelled pretty awesome after all this.

Thanks, I actually added lemon zest too (kinda like a whiskey sour or an old-fashioned). It took overnight for the lemon zest to set in the cookies, but tasted amazing. Box coming your way :)
