I decided early in the week that I needed a mini vacation this weekend. Internet-search-engines, ahoy! As I contemplated a drivable distance from Southern California, I landed on Sonoma Valley. Wineries, picnics via biplanes, gourmet cheeses complimenting every meal. What's not to love?

The real task will be narrowing my prospects to one hotel. Between Farmhouse Inn (boasting the best in-house resturant), Hotel Yountville (with a second bathtub in your main room), and Auberge du Soleil (which has a stunning view from the room). Hmmm....I wonder if I could get away with a week-long 24-hour flu...
